Our protocol contains 2 key components – weight loss and a healthier lifestyle education to assist you in maintaining your results after the program.
The protocol has evolved for over 20 years, but was originally developed over 2 decades ago by Dr. Tran Tien Chanh who focused his career and research on nutrition with a particular emphasis on the treatment of obesity and obesity related issues. This protocol is the recommended weight loss method in over 3,000 Professional Establishments worldwide.
Phase 1 Weight Loss
By restricting carbohydrate intake, the Weight Loss Phase is designed to optimize fat loss through nutritional ketosis and preserve lean body mass through an adequate daily intake of high biological protein. Essential nutrients are provided through daily supplements, water and low-glycemic vegetables. You’ll remain in Phase 1 until you have reached your weight loss goal.
Phase 2 Stabilization
Beginning with a Step-down week, food intake is recorded for seven days to create the nutritional foundation for Stabilization. You’ll be coached to slowly reintroduce carbs and healthy fats, and you’ll receive a unique-to-you Macro Code based on the number of macronutrients you need to help you maintain your new healthy weight and effectively manage hunger.
Phase 3 Maintenance
For the first 12 months following Stabilization, you will continue to receive education and support from your coach and clinic as part of the Maintenance Phase. Your coach will provide support and guidance on healthy food choices introducing new tips each visit on nutrition and healthy eating patterns. Your coach continues to help you incorporate your Macro Code to maintain health long-term. It’s also recommended to “check in” regularly with your coach during this period. In addition, you will also have the option to stay connected to your coach and clinic through the app and Wi-Fi scale. For all of those in Maintenance, two semi-annual “tune-ups” are strongly encouraged.
